Teaching with NOLS

Teaching at NOLS

I just got out of the river after 17 days Canoeing, Kayak and Rafting. Teaching all technical skills to students to be better at living outdoors.
We were teaching leadership, Leave not Trace, Non Violent Communication, Gender Bias and much more. Using the wilderness as a class room. Empowering students to be more accountable humans in the front country.
Deso and Gray sections of the Green River have an extension of 124 miles. It is probably the most isolated western corridor in the lower 48 of the USA located  in the estate of Utah. The history of this river goes from the Freemont people that lived 1000 years ago to the out law and the moon shiners. Unique diversity of wild life and vegetation live in the riparian areas of the river shore.
Please enjoy them!
